Is there a monthly maintenance cost?
After we receive final payment, we can hand over the site completely to you if you’d prefer to manage it yourself. We can provide training and help with ad hoc changes or provide monthly maintenance.
If your business requires a website that needs regular updates and optimisations on landing pages, we provide a monthly retainer service that provides peace of mind, and higher website performance.
Do you host the website, emails & domain?
We don’t provide hosting but rather recommend and walk you through how to set up hosting with SiteGround, who is known for the fastest, most secure WordPress hosting. This gives you full ownership and control of your emails and website.
Can I edit the website and run a blog?
We build websites with WordPress which is used by over 25% of websites in the world. WordPress is a free, easy-to-use platform that enables non-web designers to maintain the site and create compelling blog posts.
We can provide video training or you can find countless free training resources online to help you get a hang of it. In fact, our own WordPress training videos have received over 190,579 views on YouTube!
After we receive final payment, we hand over the site completely to you. If you get stuck, or need some more advanced changes made, we are happy to make ad hoc changes or provide monthly maintenance.
Will I be able to see the analytics and traffic data?
Absolutely! There are different ways you can view crucial website data and traffic information. You can view it within the WordPress dashboard using a plugin or we can simply add a Google Analytics tracking code and then give you access (plus full ownership) of the Google Analytics account.
Using Google Analytics can take a bit of time and a few YouTube tutorials to get the hang of. This may be an add-on service for some of our website packages.
Will you optimise my site to rank on page 1 of Google? (SEO)
We don’t optimise the site or web pages for specific keywords. However, we ensure essential on-site optimisations that will help with your efforts for good organic Google page rankings (if coupled with a good SEO strategy and service).
For example, we optimise website speed, mobile user experience, add a Sitemap, add outbound and inbound links, ensure contact info is consistent with your Google My Business listing, to name a few.
Will my website be secure?
Unfortunately, no site is 100% secure. There are only different levels of security. We implement certain layers of security measures to help protect your website from common types of security threats and techniques.
We implement these measures as a standard service on all of our web packages. We can recommend additional security subscriptions should you want to step up the security of your site and data.
